About Raise the AgeThe Campaign 4 Youth Justice is a public education campaign that seeks to raise awareness about the impact of policies and practices that result in trying youth as adults in the adult criminal justice system. In Connecticut, the Campaign is currently focused on raising the maximum age of juvenile court jurisdiction from age 15 to age 17. The campaign is a multi-year, multi-strategy approach utilizing research, community education, advocacy, media and communications strategies.
